SERVICE LEARNING SDGs - STATE OF STUDYING AT HOME DURING PANDEMIC

Hello friends. I hope you all are healthy. here I want to talk about the 'saturation of online learning' through this blog.

As a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the Government has again set the Enforcement of Community Activity Restrictions (PPKM). All teaching and learning activities are still carried out online. You are directly required to carry out independent learning activities at home.

Whether we realize it or not, the length of time used for online schooling has an impact on the psychology of students. One of the psychological impacts experienced by students is the emergence of learning burnout or learning saturation. In fact, in various social media channels, students' expressions of boredom and anxiety regarding online schools are widely scattered.

Learning saturation is an emotional condition experienced by students when they feel tired, and mentally or physically saturated as a result of work demands or an increased learning load. The emergence of this fatigue is due to feelings of guilt, helplessness, hopelessness, deep sadness which continuously produces feelings of discomfort which in turn increases feelings of irritation, physical exhaustion, mental and emotional exhaustion.

Observing the phenomena that occurred, there is great hope for the government and all elements of education to continue to pursue the best policies to address educational issues during the pandemic. Indeed, the saturation of online learning has reached an alarming point, and we must realize the consequences for the future of the nation's next generation. If the government is able to make the implementation of the Pilkada a pandemic standard, why should education sustainability have to wait for time?

The solution to overcome the problem of online school saturation like this is.....

 • Me Time
Find a mood or atmosphere that builds the formation of a good mood. One of them can do activities to read books according to the topics they like.

Reading books does not have to go out of the house or to the local library, because if you are lazy to leave the house then you can do it at home, but if you don't have books, you can try reading books through e-books.

Reading is proven to have many benefits and has been proven as well.

Therefore, you can make this activity an option when it comes to quality time with yourself.

• Find A Chat Partner Through Social Media Communication
Find a chat partner who supports a happy mood even if it's done virtually. For example, chatting on light topics with a relaxed and joking atmosphere, sharing about school materials or maybe sharing about the future with partners. Avoid chatting with toxic topics so that our soul does not absorb negative energy, causing fatigue. 'Chatting' is not only through short messages but also video calls, for example, so that the mood becomes more awake, we can see expressions and listen to the tone of the interlocutor's speech.

With the explanation in this blog, hopefully we will care more about education in Indonesia, especially the people around us. Therefore, I hope that after reading this blog, school children can be motivated to be enthusiastic about learning even in these conditions.
That is all and thank you.

I agree with your opinion, we must need me time. Because in this way we can give our brains to rest, clear the mind, and prevent excessive stress.
